About Smart Selective

Why we built this

Preparing for the OC or Selective test can be expensive. Many practice platforms charge hundreds of dollars, and free options are often just a few sample questions. We believe every child should be able to practise in the real format and understand their mistakes, whatever their family can afford.

What we promise

• Free and unlimited. Every question and explanation is free, with no trial period and no credit card.
• Original questions. We never copy official papers or other providers' material.
• Checked answers. See how we write and check questions. If you find a mistake, tell us and we fix it the same day where possible.
• Honest claims. We do not promise places, predicted scores or results we cannot prove.
• Privacy first. Children never need an account, and we never sell personal information. See our privacy policy.

How the site is funded

The site may show advertising in future. We may also offer optional extras later, but the free questions will stay free.

Independent

Smart Selective is independent. It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the NSW Department of Education or any school.
